| The Bay Area Hoosiers is a youth organization that was founded in 1999. The purpose of this organization is to help expose young men to the educational and athletic disciplines necessary to become productive student-athletes. The individuals who volunteer their time and efforts to mentor these young men in both school and life emphasize the philosophy of citizenship and character.
The mission of the program is to increase college and university awareness of our student-athletes. By participating in regional and national tournaments and camps, we are able to accomplish our mission. Through the development of leadership characteristics such as integrity, honesty, discipline, hard work, and commitment these student-athletes become empowered to pursue athletic excellence.
Our goal is that their experience with the Bay Area Hoosiers will continue to open doors for young men who wish to participate in men’s basketball at the collegiate level and beyond. |
